NSAR INTERACTION MODEL

The model shows the interaction between four mutually reinforcing initiatives:

 

NBN / Nordic Emergency Response Center Notodden:
Contributes to national and regional cooperative training, facilitates forest firefighting and develops innovative coordination work.

 

WTFT / White Tail Flight Training:
Builds educational courses and pilot training, trains for the most demanding operations, and facilitates type certification and simulator training.

 

BALDR / Aerial Intelligence Fire Suppression System:
Develops predictive decision-making tools, creates a basis for innovation and export, and contributes to higher precision in forest firefighting.

 

NSAR OPS / Specialized Aerial Operations:
Serving the Norwegian market, conducting special operations and enabling rentals to the EU.

STRATEGY

NSAR's operational model provides measurable results: shorter time from alert to first effect, higher accuracy in efforts and fewer unnecessary aircraft movements.

This means more output per flight hour, better utilization of personnel and equipment, and lower total costs for the same level of preparedness. When the right measures are taken earlier and more precisely, the extent of damage is reduced – and the effect can be documented with verifiable data and reports.
