THE WAY FORWARD

NSAR is a Norwegian initiative established to strengthen airborne preparedness in the Nordic region. We are a team of experienced pilots and operations managers with a background in demanding air operations, project implementation and commercial operations – and we are building an operational model that combines emergency aircraft, decision support systems and a competence center for training, standardization and continuous improvement.

Our role is to translate operational experience into measurable impact: faster response, higher precision and better resource utilization in air-ground cooperation. In parallel, we work closely with authorities and partners to develop solutions that are testable, scalable and relevant to Nordic needs within forest fires, oil spill response and search and rescue.
